Self-sufficiency plan for a Sustainable Fishing Program in Baja California
By the means of a participatory-based analysis, a self-sufficiency plan was developed for the Sustainable Fishing Program’s strategic projects.
Generate inputs for the development of a strategy to achieve long-term viability and self-sufficiency of local initiatives in the "Corridor".
Interviews as well as participatory processes were conducted with key stakeholders of the Niparajá team and community members to jointly design the management mechanism that could close the social and economic gaps from within the community.
A management plan easily appropriated due to its highly participatory design.
